Ever feel like the things we are called to do are impossible? Come explore how they ARE possible as we follow Jesus. Evening starts with dinner at 6pm, then discussion groups for adults & teens around topics such as dealing with thoughts (anxiety etc), finances, making room for God in your life and more! Evening wraps up at 7:3pm

Fun class for kids, too!

Teens are invited to hang out after for a fun activity. Church van will drop off teens about 8:30

Fall Family Night begins Tuesday, September 22 and wraps up on October 27.

Candy Maze

Kids of all ages will have a blast finding their way through our NON-SPOOKY maze! In the various nooks in the maze will be folks passing out candy. Kids will also be on the look out for 5 things to find in order to get a prize and enter a drawing for a bigger prize!

Event takes place 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, October 31 in the parking lot at 514 N Chestnut St.

At CNaz, we go to God first. That means the first day of the month is a day of prayer. We will be gathering at 7pm to pray for our city and for our church. We will gather at the church. Some groups will travel to another part of Cortez to walk and pray. At least one group will remain at the church to pray.

Hey! We are Casie Madsen and Holly Hooten! We love Jesus, have been friends since first grade, homeschool our kiddos and pretty much do life together! Excited to worship the Lord with you!

Our speaker

Pastor Pam Jantz is married to Sheldon Jantz and currently resides in Durango,

Colorado where she is the lead pastor at Faith Community Church. She is

originally from Springfield, Missouri, has been previously married, and lived in

Anchorage, Alaska, for 15 years. She has 3 grown children who are scattered all

over the U.S. She has a passion for Spiritual Formation and the caring for the soul.

She enjoys hiking with her husband, writing, crocheting, and home decor and,

overall, making things more beautiful than they were before. She is a published

author of Over the Rainbow…Going from a Stormy Past to a Future Full of Color

and she feels it is a great honor to speak and to encourage people. She has a

business, called Breathe and Bloom, where she encourages people toward

emotional healing to reconnect to their souls, their true identity in Christ, so they

can breathe in life and bloom in their purpose.

Day of Prayer ~ Walk & Pray!

Inspired by our youth returning from NYC, we are going to walk and prayer during our August Day of Prayer. We will be walking in parts of Cortez, praying for our neighbors, our city; praying that His Kingdom would come to our corner of the world! Everyone will gather first at the church and we will disburse from there. Those who cannot walk will have a pace to pray in Cortez that does not require walking. Hope you’ll join us at 7pm!

Turned Around Summer Club

Looking for something fun and meaningful for kids next week? Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10am to 12pm is Turned Around Summer Club! A team from CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) will be leading kids ages 5-12 in bible stories, crafts, games, and snacks. Kids ages 4 to 10 are invited to Cave Quest! Bible stories, games, puppets - so much fun not to be missed.
