Way, Truth, Life A life of following Jesus should never be boring or stagnant, nor should it be done alone. As we seek to become more and more like Jesus, we discover that Christian discipleship is an ongoing journey of grace. In Way, Truth, Life, David Busic invites us to consider the various ways that God’s seeking, saving, sanctifying, sustaining, and sufficient grace meets us where we are in our lives. When we respond faithfully to the One who lovingly calls and equips us for the Journey of Grace, we will enjoy a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, who is himself the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Water for the Way The journey that God’s people are called to make to the cross with Christ is not an easy one. Each year we spend forty days in reflection upon all the seasons of wilderness we know we will experience in our lives, or have already experienced. The wilderness makes us thirsty and weary, but we know we do not journey alone. Christ carries and sustains us on our way. Experience the thirst-quenching, soul-refreshing sufficiency of Jesus in a new way this Lenten season as you walk in community toward the cross with Water for the Way.
Bread & Wine Bread and Wine: Readings for Lent and Easter is a popular devotional anthology featuring over 70 daily readings designed to guide readers through the themes of Lent—temptation, passion, crucifixion, and resurrection—leading into Easter. It includes diverse, classic and contemporary authors like C.S. Lewis, Henri Nouwen, and Dorothy Day.
Consuming Fire The journey to the cross and to resurrection is a heart-searching, soul-cleansing journey. It can be a painful journey, like it was for Jesus. Yet, because of Jesus, it can also be a healing, renewing, redemptive journey. Fire can also be a healing, renewing, redemptive journey. Fire can destroy, or it can refine. As you follow in Jesus’s footsteps this Lenten season, use the devotional reflections, journaling questions, affirmations, and prayer prompts in A Consuming Fire to respond to the burning desire of your heart to know Jesus better.
Non-Book Group If you feel you cannot commit to reading a book, this group is for you. You can come on family night and discuss a quote or verse together. No expected reading during the week.
DiscipleMaker 101 (for Men) you desire to be a force for good in the world. You also know that the answer is making disciples for Jesus that make disciples for Jesus. But you may not have the tools to do that. Even if you’re here for your church, you have to ask yourself…
• What is my plan for making disciples?
• Is my plan working?
If you can’t answer these questions, then DiscipleMaker 101 will help you build a disciple-making movement in your Circle of Influence to change the world for the better.
