Men, sons, grandsons, nephews -  On Saturday, June 7 the men and their sons, nephews, grandsons will meet at McDonald’s at 7:30am to grab some breakfast. Then they will head to KFC parking lot to organize a carpool, then head to the ponds north of Dolores. Free fishing day! Bring tackle and bait if you can. Not a fisherman? Come and hang out anyway! We go to God first at CNaz! So the church will be open for prayer 6am-6pm on the first day of the month and we will gather for prayer at 6pm.

As we Go to God First, we invite you to a day of prayer for Cortez. Pick a portion of the city and walk & pray or drive & pray over the people and endeavors in that portion. Join us at the church that evening for a time of corporate prayer.

We will be organizing, cleaning, tackling a few projects, stuffing plastic eggs for the Egg Hunt - something for every age and skill level! Yes, there will be donuts!

Please join us for a meaningful service to commemorate the beginning Lent. This simple service will provide opportunity for reflection as we prepare to enter a season of fostering deeper spiritual connection before celebrating the resurrection of Christ.

Join us as we welcome new members, worship together as a family, and share a meal following the service.

In conjunction with our GROW focus, we are Going to God FIRST. This includes declaring the first of each month as a day of prayer. The prayer chapel and sanctuary will be open from 6am until 6pm. You can sign up to pray for one hour on the sign up sheet outside the prayer chapel. The Day of Prayer will conclude with a corporate prayer service at 6:00pm.

Women, bring a favorite finger food to share and come enjoy a morning of fellowship as we find out who our “secret sisters” were for the year. We will also draw names for new sisters for this coming year. Didn’t participate last year? No worries - we would love to have you come all the same! Not wanting to participate next year? That’s fine too - come and enjoy the morning with your sisters in Christ.

Our teen quizzers will be traveling to Durango to pit our knowledge of Luke chapter 1-16 against that of Durango Faith Community’s quiz team. We will leave Cortez at 7:30am and be back in Cortex by 3pm. We would love some cheerleaders!

In lieu of our regular Family Sunday Potluck, we will be having Frito Pie on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Please sign up in the foyer for what you want to bring. If you want to bring other potluck items, that is welcome as well.
