The 6th of every month at 6pm.
The sun is up high, and the sky is so blue,
The water is sparkling — it's waiting for you!
So gather your swimsuits, your towels, your snacks,
We’re heading for fun — no ifs, ands, or quacks!
It's a day at the pool, hooray and hooroodle!
With Moms and with kids, we’ll jump in and doodle.
We’ll splash in the shallow, we’ll float in the deep,
We’ll cannonball laughter and backstroke with glee!
We'll play with the noodles, the floaties and toys,
We'll giggle and wiggle with squeals and with noise.
We'll gobble some grapes, sip lemonade bright,
Then do silly dances with pool noodle might.
There’s sunscreen for safety, and shade when we rest,
We'll lounge like cool cats in our poolside best.
So come one, come all, from near and from far,
To the pool where the giggles and good times are!
Bring your flip-flops, your sunhats and cheer,
We’ll splash up a memory that lasts all the year.
With mothers and kiddos, we’ll swim and we’ll sing—
It’s a pool party bash that’s the real summer thing!
